Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither
stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. 「逃げて、自分の命を救いなさい。後ろを振り返って見てはいけません。低地で立ち止まってはいけません。山に逃げなさい。さもないとあなたは滅ぼされます」
Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone
and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and
all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew
upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became

Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine
hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and
upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 「汝、私（話者は神）以外の神を崇めるなかれ」

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. 「汝、刻んだ像を造るなかれ」（偶像崇拝の禁止）
に逆らってしまいます。
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come
down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron,
and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for
this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot
not what is become of him. 「（イスラエルの）民はモーゼが山からなかなか下りてこなかったので、アーロンのもとに集まり彼に言った：私たちを導いてくれる神を私たちのために造ってください。私たちをエジプトからエジプトの国から導き出してくれたモーゼがどうなったのか分からないのですから」（wotはknowを意味する文語）
And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings,
which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters,
and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the golden earrings
which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 「アーロンは彼らに言った：あなたがたの妻、息子、娘たちの金の耳飾りをはずして私のところに持ってきなさい。民は皆金の耳飾りをはずしてアーロンのもとへ持って来た」
And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it
with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said,
These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 「アーロンがこれらを彼らの手から受け取り、工具で鋳型を造り、子牛の形に作り上げると、彼らは言った：イスラエルよ、これはあなたをエジプトの国から導き出したあなたの神である」
その後、バートルビーに a killing spree（人殺しにふけること）は神を喜ばせることではない、と言われたロキはこう答えます。

about raining down fire and brimstone, punishing the wicked. He's all about
