ではここで、ファン・レターの実例を紹介しましょう。分量としては便箋２枚程度。１枚目ではその俳優を知ったきっかけや映画を観た感想を書いたり、演技や容姿を褒めたりしています。２枚目でポートレイトのリクエストをして結ぶ、というパターンで進めてみます。
これはマリサ・コグランといって、『鬼教師ミセス・ティングル』という作品に出演していた女優さんに書いたファン・レターです。

in "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" in a movie theater at Japan. I saw
the movie because I am a Katie Holmes fan, but I ended up becoming
an enthusiastic fan of yours! |

I enjoyed it very much. It
was a very well written story, and I was totally drawn into
it. Mrs. Tingle was a monster rather than a teacher. Fortunately,
I have never met a teacher like her. Although it was a horror
movie, I laughed many times, because Jo was so funny. She wanted
to be an actress and, so she impersonated Marilyn Monroe in
a history class. It was very cute! And her impersonation of
Linda Blair from "The Exorcist" was so hilarious. When I saw
it, I laughed till I cried. Anyway, she stood out the most among
the main characters. |

こちらをもとにして自分なりのレターが書きたい場合は以下の例文集を利用することも。引用したいカテゴリーの部分をクリックすると、別ウィンドウに例文が表示されます。
ただし、これらはあくまでも参考例。自分で辞書と取っ組み合い、感想・意見などを英訳する努力も忘れないこと。参考英文をただ組み合わせて１通のファン・レターに仕立てたところで、それは「仏作って魂入れず」で本末転倒です。文法的な誤りがあっても大丈夫。ハリウッドの映画俳優が東洋の島国から送られてくるファン・レターの文法にいちいち目くじらを立てて怒るわけがありません。一生懸命工夫して書けば、その気持ちはきっとスターの心にも届くはず。大好きなスターを励まし、自分なりのオリジナルな英文レターを作ってみて下さい。

第13回カネボウ国際女性映画週間は、8ヵ国の女性映画人による14作品を上映の予定。 プレ・イベントとして《「まちづくり・人づくり・映画づくり」作品とシンポジウム》を、そして「世界の女性監督」ではアメリカ、フランス、ドイツ、チュニジア、フィリピンの６本を、また「女性の脚本家」のテーマでは中国とキューバ、フランスの３作品が上映されます。今年は会場も渋谷エルミタージュに移り、客席数も大幅に増え、期間も４日から１週間へと拡大。海外からのゲスト、日本の女性映画人と力を合わせて、愉快に、華やかに、元気にウーマンズ・ウィークがスタート！
