been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. |

ロンドンのある場所から魔法界の「ダイアゴン横町」へ入り、入学準備の買い物をする２人。まずはハリーの両親がお金を預けていた「グリンゴッツ銀行」でお金を引き出し、制服や教科書ほか、魔法使いの必須アイテムを買い込む。そこでハリーは自分にぴったりの魔法の杖を買うが、それはいわく付きの杖だった。

そしてハリーは８月最後の日、ロンドンキングズ・クロス駅９と3/4番線からホグワーツ特急に乗って「ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校」へ向かう。車内でクラスメートとなるロン、ハーマイオニー、ネビルたちに出会い、一行は夜の闇におどろおどろしい姿で浮かび上がる「ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校」へ到着する。
